Evidence - that which tends to prove or disprove something; ground for belief; proof.
That which tends to prove or disprove something; ground for belief; proof.
Something that makes plain or clear; an indication or sign:
Data presented to a court or jury in proof of the facts in issue and which may include the testimony of witnesses, records, documents, or objects.
—verb (used with object),
To make evident or clear; show clearly; manifest
Evidence is a funny thing, it can prove guilt or innocence, it can also give a greater understanding (insight).
There should be so much evidence, Proof, that you are a follower of Jesus that you have no need to say anything. The more evidence there is the more fear it should strike in the enemy. Acts 19:11-15 Paul was doing such extraordinary miracles that another person wanted to participate in it as well, but the demons turned to him and said “I recognize Jesus, and I know about Paul, but who are you?”
As followers/disciples/fans/chasers of Jesus we need to make sure we are leaving the correct evidence behind everywhere we go and in everything we do.
From how we:
Work - do you grump and complain about the boss (leadership), or are you an encouragement to them?
Worship: are you spaced out and just going through the motions or are you engaged in what is going on and excited about what God has/is doing?
